For this session, he chose another Carter instrumental gem from the pen of “The King” for whom Lew has a genuine affinity. The use of swaying bossa nova rhythms was an ideal choice for this performance. Notice how Brown’s guitar gently supports but, never intrudes. Steve and Tony contribute tasteful solos to complete the mood. If you close your eyes you can almost imagine being on the beach at Ipanema.
