A wonderful evening of music of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite arranged by Duke Ellington - Billy Strayhorn. This is a work of breathtaking scope and is highly nuanced and incredibly swinging. The second half of the concert will be a Jazz at the Philharmonic style jam session featuring many of the world class soloists from the Big Band.
